Delta Motorsport is an engineering consultancy out of a new mould.
Although our design skills and thought processes have been honed in the ultra-competitive world of motorsport, we thrive on the challenge of a wide range of racecar and non-racecar project work, including:
- Full vehicle design, engineering and support
- Project Management
- Styling design
- Component / systems design, engineering and support
- Aerodynamic consultancy
- Development programs in mechanical or electronic systems
- Component sourcing and assembly
- Prototype build through to production
This usually involves leading multi-disciplinary teams of designers, development engineers, production specialists and others.
One of our high profile projects was the design and build of single-seater and twin seater cars for the Grand Prix Masters series. The cars are in the hands of some of the most experienced and demanding F1 drivers of all time - including Nigel Mansell, Emerson Fittipaldi, Riccardo Patrese and many more.
This project encompassed all of the areas above, from initial styling sketches, right through to sourcing of all drawn and proprietary components and the build of 15 single seater cars from a clean sheet of paper in less than 5 months.
